avoid all dairy
Avoid ALL margarines and similar type spreads
• Avoid deep fried and fatty foods.
• Avoid sugary processed foods and drinks
• Limit chicken and turkey that is not free range as this contains artificial growth hormones, antibiotics and steroids that increase the livers workload.
• Drink 2 liters of water each day.
• Avoid artificial sweeteners see http://www.dorway.com

Though weight loss, exercise and low salt intake all help to reduce blood pressure they are almost never enough to avoid medication once hypertension is established. Unfortunately your cholesterol is probably also too high to successfully bring it down to the required level of less than 5mmoles without medication either.

Hi
I went for a diabeties test today. I have to go back again tomorrow though as it showed a reading of 6.3 and it should be under 6 if your normal. But I had eaten an hour and a half before….no one told me I was not meant to…
Anyway, it seems I have low blood presure, they have said its nothing to worry about though, but it explains why I am feeling dizzy all the time and sometimes a bit unsteady on my feet.
I just wondered if anyone had any decent diet plans or a list of foods I can and cant eat as its driving me nuts!!! I also now have acid reflux and a fatty liver….which sometimes aches.
I just need a guide, I cant afford to see a dietician! Someone help me as I am going mad and I am annoying everyone around me as I am having panic attacks to……………..Can anything else happen….
Thank you
Sue

Step 1. Drink more water (any liquid or food intake increases your BP; the more water you drink, the less likely is heartburn).
Step 2. You probably have the peracidity, which is high level acidity in your stomach. This means, you should AVOID SOUR foods and drink! Don’t eat lemon, cherry, pickled veggies, anything that tastes sour.
Step 3. Liver can’t give you pain – it has no nerves, it’s only gall bladder or any part of stomach may give you aching symptoms.
However, if you have an aching sensation in your right side, it really means that your liver is protesting against:
a)FATTY foods (fried, deep-fried, smeared with lots of butter or spreads, chocolate and creamy cakes, fat fish or meat, etc),
b) SPICED foods (particularly RED PEPPER and CHILI, GINGER and CORIANDER),
c) MUCH foods (try to give your liver easier times – eat less at one meal, though you may eat more often, if you may feel hungry),
d) COLD (liver doesn’t like cold sensations – liver aching goes away if you press to your right side something WARM – not hot! – like woolen scarf, a small pillow, etc)
e) SCARCITY of ferments to dijest the food you’ve eaten (the best is herbal “Liv.52″ to take daily(and it’s not dear!), or if you are in much agony, but cannot do anything, just lie down on your right side, bend your knees a bit towards your stomach, and try to sleep – it helps!).
NO PANIC, please!
Strangely enough, liver reacts on you panicking! It may result in triggering the pain!
So, stay calm, try to eat more healthy foods for you, drink more water, and I believe, things will improve.
Though YOU STILL NEED TO SEE A DOCTOR!!!
All the best, cheers!

I have low blood pressure and a problem with my liver.
For low blood pressure you need salt.
For my liver I have to avoid fried foods, red meat, dairy, vanilla, peppermint.
Onion, broccoli and cabbage are good for the liver (sadly cabbage is the most disgusting thing I have ever tried to eat!!)
